The Manchester Arena is situated at the northern end of Manchester city centre, right next to Manchester Victoria Train Station. Free Metroshuttle buses run from outside the station and ply a circular route around the city centre, calling at Manchester Piccadilly, Oxford Road Train Station, and many other points of interest. The 8,500 square metre structure consists of 15 steel ribs covered with over 400 EFTE panels. The three light rail lines intersect near the following platforms: Central Station Main (on Main Street along the Red Line)Central Station Rusk(on Rusk Street along the eastbound Green and Purple Lines)Central Station Capitol (on Capitol Street along the westbound Green and Purple Lines).
